Join the fiesta and celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Seaport Village! The free community event, presented in partnership with Canal 12 Televisa, will feature a vibrant array of live entertainment and cultural performances for the whole family to enjoy. Taking place in the Lighthouse District from 1 to 5 p.m., highlights of the day include:
Captivating ballet folklórico performances by local ensemble Folklórico Ti-Pai and an interactive salsa dancing workshop by Deseo Studios.
Groove to the beats of DJ Nando, one of San Diego’s top Hispanic DJs, who’ll be spinning a lively setlist in his larger-than-life "cabezones.”
Live music from premiere mariachi group Mariachi Nueva Tradición, and a closing performance by Fercho, a renowned Latin vocalist and former Olympic boxer.
Plenty of contests, raffles, and photo ops with Televisa’s on-air hosts and TEBEO, Canal 12’s beloved yellow mouse mascot.
